OnlyFans Colombian actress Katty Blake made national news in the Latin American country after she posted a video of herself performing oral sex on Guatapé Rock, a 721-foot-tall (220-meter) batholith that is considered a national monument. Now she and her partner may face legal problems.
Blake, who goes by her stage name, posted the video on Pornhub a week ago, where it has since racked up more than 170,000 views. The video shows her and a man named Zac, Blake's friend and manager, walking up a seemingly endless number of steps on the rock (there are 702), looking around to see if anyone is around, and then engaging in oral sex. The Rock of Guatapé is approximately 65 million years old and is considered a natural wonder.
The video was posted on the PornHub account shared by Blake and Zac, where they have over 22,400 subscribers. Blake is also active on OnlyFans, where he charges $15 a month to access his content. Taking to Instagram, Blake cheekily admitted it was her in the video, pinning a photo of her in front of Guatapé Rock to his Instagram profile with the caption: "Beautiful places." She also released a short statement in a video reacting to the meme.
"CC: I get criticized for making porn videos in public places when I'm actually making them historical monuments," Blake said on April 4.
Zac also uploaded a video on Instagram identifying himself as the man in the video.
The video sparked nationwide outrage and generated widespread media coverage in Colombia. Residents of Guatapé, a resort town about 93 miles (150 kilometers) from the city of Medellín, are claiming the toddler as their own and appeared to be particularly upset, especially since it was not the first case of public indecency in the city. Around the same time the video was shot, two drunk and naked tourists ran through the city's streets, prompting local authorities to search for them and refer their case to Colombia's immigration department.
La Piedra, the tourist center that manages the Rock of Guatapé, said in a statement on Instagram that it is making huge efforts to protect the morals of the monument and promote good behavior among visitors. She announced that she would take legal action against all the people involved in the video.
"We strongly reject the actions of the people who used our landmark to create a pornographic video," La Piedra said on April 5. "We will carry out the appropriate investigations to commence legal action against any person involved." in this obscene act that affects not only our name, but also the name of the municipality of Guatapé and the region. We will take the necessary steps to ensure that these situations do not happen again.”
The video also drew reactions from people in the Colombian legal community. Claudia Carrasquilla Minami, a former federal prosecutor, condemned Blake and Zac on Twitter.
"It is totally unacceptable for people to record sexual videos in public places like Peñol Rock [another name for Guatapé Rock in reference to the town of El Peñol]," she said on April 4. "The community has made it clear that it rejects these actions and we should come together to condemn this type of behavior."
In a statement on Instagram acknowledging his role in the video, Blake's boyfriend, Zac, said he didn't expect the video to go viral and that it was accidental, not planned. The most important thing that caught his eye, however, was the sensationalist tone and criticism of the media coverage of the video when, in his words, "the country is in a shithole."
"It's really random to read all these comments from older women saying we deserve jail or a fine," Zac said, noting his confusion at the commotion. “It's as if the women who criticize us are wearing blindfolds. They don't criticize other serious things that happen. Rather, they are scandalized because of a sex video or a blow job, as if these women with 10 or 20 children are saying, 'No, sex is bad, oh my God, no.'"
